It is comes to XXL led Edison bulbs,this problem became Serious, people have to treat it very carefully ,otherwise the damage will make you lose money. Because the oversized bulbs is more Fragile. In the beginning, we often received feedback from customers that the led Edison bulbs had broken in transit. On the one hand, we try to improve the production craft of this kind of full glass bulbs to make sure the structure of light bulbs stable enough, so as to avoid the damage of light bulbs. On the other hand, we upgrade the packaging of led Edison bulbs to protect them from damage during transportation.

When we consider the safety of light bulb packaging, we will start from the following five points:
*Die-cut/Outlines
*Protective Material
*Paper Type
*Outside Carton
1.Die-cut/Outlines
Die-cut/outlines are used to cut the light bulb packaging box, by definition, die cutting is a material-shaping process where flat goods are cut or distorted by a sharp metal edge being pressed into the stock to cut and/or shape it in a specific way. When cutting the packaging box, in order to avoid the situation of squeezing and crushing the light bulb due to the accumulation of packaging during transportation, the packaging box is usually slightly larger than the bulb instead of a box that just fits a bulb.
Sometimes when designing the packaging, some designer are prefer window designs because this design taking into account the beauty and convenience that consumers can see the products in the box: blank window or PET window. Such a design also requires a certain amount of space during die-cutting to ensure that when the packages are stacked and shipped together, they will not be squeezed due to insufficient space.
Therefore, the ideal state of a light bulb in the packaging box should be suspended, rather than the glass bulb of the light bulb being close to the packaging box.
2.Protective Material
The space reserved during die-cutting is generally put into protective material according to the type or shape of the bulb to buffer the impact or pressure generated by the accumulation of goods during transportation.
For example, we have a card to clamp the base of the light bulb to fix the state of the light bulb in the packaging box, so that the light bulb is suspended from the base to ensure the safety of the light bulb.

shaken and never be crushed by normal degree pressure.
Bubble Pack this protective material can slow down the pressure and impact around the bulb, put the bulb into the bubble pack, the bubbles on the bubble pack buffer the impact and pressure around the bulb and bring more security. The bubble pack packaging solution is usually applied to relatively small bulbs such as: LED bulbs C22, C35 and some COB&SMD lamps such as G40 etc.
Foam is a relatively soft material, which is used as a protective material in many places. Of course, our light bulb safety packaging solution is also indispensable. The light bulbs are stuck in the foam board one by one, which brings more security to the light bulbs. We generally apply this solution to the relatively large decorative light bulb packaging. If we have to apply the small ones, it will generally be more fragile and the bulbs with higher value use this scheme to ensure that there will be no accidents during the transportation of the bulbs.
Blister packaging ,The template is determined according to the shape of the bulb, and the plastic is molded into a bulb-shaped plastic blister shell by heating the plastic. This plastic shell is slightly harder than ordinary plastic and is mostly used in independent Packaging, the transparent plastic shell is fixed with cardboard at the back. The design takes into account safety and also enables consumers to see the goods inside at a glance.

Single gray
Single copper white
3 layers folded white/yellow this material is more hard and thicker than single gray/ single white, it is made of three layers of cardboard, and the middle layer is regularly curved, using the principle that the arch can resist more pressure, and the safety of this cardboard is also higher. The carton feels more rigid and not easy to bend. It also performs very well in long-distance transportation and cargo accumulation. Medium-sized bulbs are mostly used, such as ST64, A60, etc.
3 layers folded white
Smooth kraft paper
The principle of Normal kraft paper is similar to that of 3 layers folded white, but the color of the inner and outer layers of paper is brown, and the texture is harder and stronger than single gray. In the packaging scheme, kraft paper’s safety is higher, but because its appearance is mostly brown, it is not as beautiful as 3 layers folded white. Its scope of application is also similar to that of 3layers folded paper, and the actual packaging needs to take into account the customer's tendency.
Smooth kraft paper has a smoother surface than normal Kraft paper and is harder than normal Kraft paper. Although the color is still a single brown, the texture is better. As a packaging, it is still beautiful and safe.
4.Outside Carton
In order to ensure that the customer's goods can be delivered safely, many suppliers will choose good enough outer boxes to ensure that the goods will not be squeezed and deformed due to the carton during transportation, resulting in accidents. Let's take a look at the different grades of carton materials.
According to the workmanship and material of the carton, we can divide the outer carton into A=A, B=B, A=B, K=K. K=K means that the corrugated box paper quality is required to be produced with K-grade paper quality, (=) means 6 mm (-) means 3 mm. The classification of paper grades is K A B C, K grade is the best, the most commonly used is B=B, A=A, A=B is the face paper A paper, and the inside face paper is B paper.A=B is better than B=C material.
The conditions for K=K are more stringent,K3K is a three-layer single-pit paper.3" means three-layer cardboard, and it is also represented by "-",and " = " means five-layer cardboard.
Therefore, K=K means that the cardboard has five layers and the surface is k grade paper.
